Meg & John are Married | The Georgian Terrace

I don’t even know where to begin with Meg and John. They are sweet, kind, loving, and their lives are filled with amazing friends and family. You can’t help but feel joy when you’re around them, individually and together. When I arrived at Meg’s bridal suite at the Georgian Terrace, all of the ladies were chatting, listening to an awesome playlist, and getting their hair and makeup done. I began photographing Meg’s bridal details, and they were all so beautiful.

She incorporated so many details that have been passed down from each generation. A brooch for her bridal bouquet, and both of the mothers’ wedding garters! Not to mention a special promise ring that John had gifted her years ago. It was the sweetest.

It was a black tie wedding at the Georgian Terrace and everything about it was classic, elegant, and timeless. From the lace detail of Meg’s dress, the gold chiavari dining chairs, and navy and burgundy florals…it was also the perfect combination of details for a Fall wedding.

After hours of celebrating in the Grand Ballroom, Meg and John departed in an Atlanta fire truck! Meg had planned this as a special surprise for John and kept it from him the whole time! The minute he walked through the double doors and saw the bright red fire truck waiting, his jaw dropped! It was such a happy, emotional-filled reaction and it made for such fun moments as they descended the stairs. It was a one-of-kind sendoff and I loved that Meg planned something that was so special to John.
